2 Days White Water Rafting in Uganda Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Jinja city
Your guide will pick you up where you are staying and transfer you to Jinja city which is a 2-hour drive from Kampala or Entebbe. On the way to reach Mukono district, you will branch off the highway to enjoy the scenery at Sezibwa waterfalls. After Mukono, the road continues to the Mabira forest reserve. Spend like 1 or 2 hours exploring wildlife such as monkeys, and birds.
Proceed via sugar cane plantations and finally reach Jinja city on the shores of Victoria Nile. Go for a boat ride to the source of the Nile discovered by British explorer John Speke in 1858. You will arrive at your lodge, relax, and enjoy the spectacular view of the Nile and dinner overnight.
Day 2: Full white water rafting and transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, have your rafting suits and a safety briefing. Then you walk down the edge of the river and your valuables such as phones are locked in a safe.
