3 Days Congo Gorilla Trekking Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Virunga National Park
From your hotel in Kigali, you will meet and greet with our company representative who will brief you about your 3 days’ gorilla trekking adventure in Virunga national park and then transfer you to Virunga National Park via Grande Barriere border Crossing. You will need to have crossed to Congo from Rwanda by 11: 30 Am and check in with Virunga tourism office which is conveniently located in the Grande Barriere border post building opposite passport control by 12:30Pm. Here you will receive your Gorilla trek permits and then you will be transported to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and allocation of gorilla family. You will walk along the trail searching for these endangered primates in their natural habitats and the walk will take you about 2-5 hours depending on the movement of gorillas and the speed of trekkers considering the least person in the group. Upon finding these gorillas, you will spend only 1 hour with them closely interacting with them and taking photographs then exit their habitats back to your lodge for dinner and night rest as above.

Day 3:Transfer back to Kigali for departure
