Epic 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience Tour in Uganda
This 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience tour is a Bwindi Four Hours Gorilla Trek Safari to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park that takes you walking with one of the great apes of Uganda the Mountain Gorillas . The 3 Days Habituation Experience in Bwindi starts in Entebbe in Uganda though one may choose to start it from Kigali Rwanda to reduce on the hours of Road drive.
The Cost of the 3 Days Gorilla Tour is inclusive of Full Board Accommodation, the Gorilla Habituation Permit @ USD1500, Transport in a land cruiser, English Speaking driver and Taxes
This tour allows tourists to take part in the process of making the Gorillas get used to human presence. The gorilla habituation experience differs from the standard gorilla trekking because tourists are allowed to have 4 hours of interacting with the Gorillas compared with the 1 Hour they have for standard gorilla trekking.
This Gorilla experience begins earlier than usual because tourists need to follow the Gorillas throughout the day and on meeting the gorilla family they have 4 hours to observe the gorilla group, get to know the different individuals as they take photos and videos.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will be picked up by your Driver from either your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or from the Airport and he or she will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the journey you will have stops at the Equator for photography and at Igongo cultural center for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi arriving in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience
Today after a very early breakfast you will be transferred to the Rushaga sector park headquarters for briefing about the rules and regulations of Gorilla Trekking before you embark on the trekking led by a team of researchers and Park Rangers in the dense jungle of Bwindi. On finding the gorillas, you will interact with them for Four hours and you will be required to keep a longer distance with the gorillas because they are not yet certified as suitable for closer encounters. Later in the evening you will retreat back to the lodge with enormous knowledge about gorilla’s conservation, enjoy your dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe for departure Flight
Today after breakfast you will be transferred back to Kampala with stops along the way for photography and lunch. You will arrive in Entebbe late in the evening in time for check in for your flight back home or to your next destination.
