13-Day Uganda Rwanda Safari Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to your Hotel
Today on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet and greet with your driver/guide from Engabi Tours and Travel who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe and brief you about the upcoming activities.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park and Rhino Tracking
Depart Kampala city after breakfast with your guide taking you to Murchison falls national park, the largest conservation area in Uganda. Along the 5 hours’ journey there will be regular stops and you will visit Ziwa rhino sanctuary home to 20 white rhinos where you will take a guided Rhino tracking on foot with a ranger and have lunch. After lunch proceed into the park and before you check in your lodge, you visit the top of Murchison waterfalls for beautiful scenic views of the Nile. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Murchison Falls National Park-Game drive and boat cruise
At 06:30am after a cup of coffee, you will start the game drive with a ranger to explore wildlife of Murchison falls including herds of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, lion, giraffes, hyena, topi. Arrive back to the lodge on time for full breakfast. After lunch you will head to Paara enjoy a 3 hours’ boat cruise on River Nile world’s longest river boasts high concentration of hippos, Nile crocodiles and a variety of water birds such as giant kingfishers, fish eagles. Later hike to the top of the falls to meet up with your Driver to transfer you to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park the Home of Chimps in Uganda
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale national park the home of Chimpanzees. The journey to Kibale offers an amazing views and opportunities for photography in the country side. You will have lunch on the way and arrive at your lodge in time for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking experience and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the rules and regulations of tracking chimpanzees and then proceed in the jungle to start the search for the chimps guided by the Uganda wildlife Authority Rangers. On finding the chimps, you will spend a maximum of 1 Hour with them and then you will transfer back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for the Bigodi for a cultural experience and later dinner and overnight at your Lodge

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and an Afternoon Game Drive
Today you will wake up to an early morning breakfast and thereafter transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for check-in and lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will head out for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector and this will go on till late evening as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park (Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise)
After a very early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive and here you will have an opportunity to see elephants, buffalos, hippos, gazelles, antelopes and predators chasing their pray and enjoy their kill before you return to the lodge for hot lunch. After lunch, you will head out for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will be able to see Hippos, elephants and different birds.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is undoubtedly one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world blessed with natural beauty and abundant animals.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After Breakfast, you will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Approximately via Mbarara-Ishaka-Kabale road arriving in time for check-in, lunch and later dinner and overnight. In the evening, you may visit the Batwa/pigmies’ community for a cultural experience.

Day 9: First Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today you will wake up very early and enjoy your breakfast after which you will be transferred to the park headquarters with packed lunch for briefing on the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking in Bwindi. You will then enter the jungle to meet the gorilla family that you will watch for a maximum of 1 hour and during this time the rangers will tell you a lot about the group and thereafter you will head back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver and transfer back to the lodge. In the evening you might go for a community walk with your guide depending on whether you are tired or not.

Day 10: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After Breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. En-route, you will pass by Lake Mutanda where you will do a canoe ride and then proceed to the Park arriving in time for lunch and later dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking and Iby’wachu Cultural Experience
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the Park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking rules. You will then enter the jungle to start the search for the Mountain Gorillas and on finding them you will Spend1 hour with them which will be a great experience for everyone. In the afternoon you will stay by the lodge relaxing or visit the Iby’wachu village for a cultural experience.

Day 12: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Kigali City
After a very early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters again for your golden monkey tracking. These are endangered type of monkey which is only found in this mountain range at high elevation within the Albertine rift region. They can easily be seen in large troop but on close view because of being habituated to human presence. The trekking takes 3 to 4 hours in total. when you return, you will have you lunch at your lodge and thereafter transfer to Kigali City for overnight.

Day 13: Transfer to the Kigali International Airport and Departure
Depending on the schedule of your flight, today you will wake up at leisure and relax at the lodge until when it’s check-out time. You will slowly transfer to the Airport arriving in time for check in for your flight marking the end of the trip. You may choose to do a Kigali City Tour before your flight if you have so much time at hand.
