Engabi Tours is 2 for 2!
Last year, friends and I did the Mountain Gorilla tour in Uganda and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Truly epic.
We stayed in touch with Christopher at Engabi Tours and this year did the Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater, 4 day/3 night safari in Tanzania. Totally different experience but equally legend. Starting with our guide, Vitalis, who was an absolute rock star. His knowledge and experience greatly enhanced the experience. There was no tree, bird, plant, animal or landmark he could not speak to. Human Google. We were up close and intimate with more lions, elephants, giraffe and Buffalo than we could count.

EXCELLENT rating
Based on 26 reviewsAbsolutely amazing experience From start to finish it was an incredible trip. We did a 9 day tour, starting with Gorilla Trekking in Uganda and afterwards transferring for Safari in Tanzania. Chris made an amazing itinerary and adjusted to our wishes. Responses were always fast. Especially our guide (Vitalis) in Tanzania made this trip unforgettable. He knew the best spots in all National Parks. We always drove from early morning until late afternoon / evening. Vitalis has huge knowledge about nature & animals in the park. He will spot wild life while driving while we didn’t even see once we stopped - it was incredible. I can recommend Engabi to everybody who searches for professionalism, friendliness and stress-free trip to Africa.Roving10171815340Once in a Lifetime Experience My husband and I did a 4 day and 3 night trip to Uganda with Engabi Tours which was amazing. We did gorilla and golden moneky tracking. Our tour guide, Fred, was very nice and always willing to take his car anywhere to be the most convenient for us. The gorillas in Bwindi were incredible. The hike was very difficult between the terain and the altitude. I would 100% recommend hiring a porter. However, seeing them is one of the most amazing experiences. We also saw the golden monkeys on another excursion. Our trek was long but not as strenuous as the gorillas. These guys are so active and incredibly fun to watch. We stayed at Four Gorillas Lodge. The staff were very friendly and super accommodating. The food was good. Drinking water was provided. It is a beautiful space that is very close to Bwindi. Their credit card machine was down while we were there; so, cash is a must which we did not realize ahead of time. We stayed our last night at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort. It is another very nice lodge. The staff and food again were excellent. We loved being right on the water. They do take credit cards here. Keep in mind when traveling to Uganda that it is a third world country. The roads are terrible in some places. Many places require cash, and the wifi is spotty at best. Also, most of the places are solar powered so electricity has to be conserved. However, it is a beautiful country. We are so grateful we got to have this once in a lifetime experience. Chris with Engabi made planning ahead of time pretty easy. I gave him my ideas, and he put together the itinerary perfectly. If we ever return to Uganda, I'd book with Engabi Tours again.Rachel PTanzanian Safari Experience Engabi Tours is 2 for 2!Last year, friends and I did the Mountain Gorilla tour in Uganda and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We even saw several black rhino, which was pretty rare and special considering their numbers. The other wildlife diversity we saw was too much to list and driving through hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra, in the heart of the great migration, it is simply indescribable. All emotional experiences. The living accommodations were 5 star with friendly service, great amenities and spectacular views. A magnificent trip and a must do for anyone who likes an adventure when they travel.MattKBest Safari At A Very Reasonable Price. A MUST!!! Absolutely a trip of a lifetime! I don't write reviews often (only when I'm impressed) but if I could rate this 10 out of 5 stars, I would! We did the 4 day/3 night Serengeti and Ngorogoro crater tour. I don't know if we were just incredibly fortunate but there are no words for the intimate wildlife we got to experience. Our tour guide, Vitalis, was A+++! There wasn't one tree, one bird or one observation he couldn't talk about. He even found 4 black rhinos that we were able to see! This company RESPECTS the wildlife and makes it a point to support conservation. The accommodations were superb. I only wish we had more time at the resorts. Highly recommend!Kate P5 stars. Thank you Christopher! We recently went with Engabi tours to go gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest. From the minute I got in contact with Christopher he was so helpful and extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns. He gave us recommendations for accommodation and where to fry in and out of to make the most of the time we had. Simon our driver was also very kind and knowledgeable throughout our trip. We absolutely loved our trip and world 100% recommend this company.Noc389Gorilla trekking Bwindi national park I have to give 101% to Engabi tours. Chris helped me with all the arrangements of the permitt for Gorilla tour in Bwindi national park. This is a company that you can thrust, feel free to ask questions prior to your arrival to Uganda, Chris comunicates and response very quickly on whatsapp even at night time, you wont regret. Had an amazing first experience with gorillas and will come back for the Chimpanzee tour next time. Thanks and see you soon! :)Hanz DHighly recommended Engabi tours has organised everything for us.We have been to Africa before more than once, but it is always challenging to discover a new country without help. Engabi Tours was the best choice. They were there all the way, when we needed help before the journey, throughout the journey, until the last second of the journey. They were always available on WhatsApp and immediately responded to every request we had.Tour guide was a very intelligent driver - Allan , who was always precise about the timings, and made sure that we always get everywhere on time without any hiccups. The accommodations were chosen carefully. We didn’t go for basic options, so you can expect to pay more, but it’s worth the money if you want to get comfortable between the long rides and exhausting activities, which are great fun btw.Visiting of the chimpanzees and also the Gorillaz was a great experience and it’s a must. If you visit the country… the tours are well organised and it’s 100% guaranteed that you will see them and that you will be able to take incredible pictures.I also have to mention that Chris, one of the owners company was an exceptional help for me all the way not just with the tour but because I also had a problem with declaration of my drone, we had a connection after the trip and I wasnt prepared for the permit to Uganda. So it was taken.Luckily Chris was there all the way so he helped me the get it back and he made sure it’s all safe and all taken care of with the authorities.(it is a very long story so I wouldn’t write everything down, but the point is that we got everything back and it was a happy ending )I have to mention Susan as well, who was also there for us from the very start. She was the one who I started to communication with, and she was a great help with all the information we needed. She also helped us with getting a local Sim card beforehand so by the time we landed, we could just install the card and started to use so we could save on the phone bill. Two things did you have to bear in mind the signal is very weak around these beautiful places so get yourself prepared for weak signals and very slow Internet and also for the long rides. :)The country, so you don’t have to worry about the Ebola because all these touristy places are very far from those villages.I just highly recommend this company because they made the best experience for us in this beautiful country !Akos and BarbaraAkos0613WOW!!! Engabi Tours is THE way to experience Uganda! Putting to words how fabulous Engabi Tours is is a daunting task! My wife surprised me for my 50th birthday with this once-in-a-lifetime holiday. I have always wanted to experience the wonders of Africa, and this trip did not disappoint! The attention to detail in accommodations and tours far exceeded my expectations. From the very first moment when Allan picked us up from the airport I knew we were in for a great time! He is the kindest, most patient and knowledgeable guide we have ever had during our world travels! I can confidently say that I feel as if we started as clients, but left as friends (Allan, if you ever make it to the states, you have a place to stay and a couple of decidedly mediocre tour guides at your disposal)! There are so many highlights from this trip, it’s impossible to pick a favorite! From seeing the big-5 before 9 am the first day at Murchison Falls, to an incredible stay at Four Gorillas Lodge (capped by an impromptu birthday celebration complete with a delicious cake), up close interactions with gorillas, chimpanzees, and even a charging hippopotamus! Allan was by our side introducing us to the local culture and explaining the details of the natural wonders, all while patiently answering our myriad questions! Of all of our travels, Engabi Tours have set the bar High!jsly1989BREATHTAKING Where does one start with such an amazing experience visiting a beautiful country with wonderful heartfelt people. The beauty of the land and breathtaking views of some of the world’s most spectacular animals left us feeling blessed beyond measure. Every day was a new adventure in search of animals one would never get tired of seeing over and over again. Having the opportunity to see the leopard was thrilling. Watching the sunrise with an elephant and her young one in the view took my breath away. The chimpanzees and gorillas were awe inspiring and entertaining. Every moment was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Thank you, Allan and Engabi Tours for providing such a gift!Amy WAbsolutely Perfect I cannot recommend Engabi Tours and Travel enough for adventures in Rwanda and Uganda. Not only are they cool and kind people, who are fun to be around, but every aspect of your tour will be well thought out, planned, and executed with care, by local experts and guides. We did a gorilla trek in Uganda and Engabi had a close partnership with the lodge where we stayed, which turned out to be the best safari lodge we'd ever experienced. Go with Engabi and you will not be sorry!Rachel W
